The Hungarian Laser Class Association
The Hungarian Laser Class Association is a self-governing, autonomous part of the Hungarian Yachting Association. Its officers (the Executive) are elected by the General Assembly of the members for a period of two years. The Executive is responsible for the day by day management of the Class and, also, elects the Class President.
The officers of the Hungarian Laser Class Association currently are:
Bernadett Eszes, president; József Csomai, Imre Hejj, and Miklós Sulyok members of the Executive.

There three major areas to do competitive and recreational sailing in Hungary: The lakes Balaton (approx.600 sqr.km), Velence and Ferto. A large variety of Olympic and non-Olympic class fleets are competing from March to October in multiple regattas. The Laser fleet is increasing steadily in all age groups and is also the preferred choice for young sailors freshly growing out of the Optimist class.
